Clean and very friendly park
And then, each of the firepits is littered with trash and cans from previous visitors. That's not a nice welcome to our park.
I am a longtime resident and taxpayer in Franklin County. I just showered in one of the Walleye Park public showers and I am embarrassed and ashamed of the facility. Extremely slick floors are a huge liability. It is not enough to post a sign saying "slick when wet" ---- it's a shower for goshsakes and it is wet. The "push the button for 4 seconds of water" is pathetic. It's just embarrassing for the county to show so little respect for our visitors and residents.
